The annual Gladstone Regional Council Street Christmas Party is one not to be missed! Held in the city centre on Goondoon St in early December, the event is full of fun and Christmas cheer with Santa’s arrival and the lighting of the Christmas tree.

In 2019 Dance Kix was lucky enough to be involved in the celebrations, performing as part of the main entertainment!

We kicked off the afternoon with a dancing street parade down Goondoon St. Working tirelessly during class time to rehearse the routine, our 120 students from our Junior to Senior classes beamed with confidence as they danced down the street bringing smiles to the hundreds of spectators.

Our Performance Teams had the privilege to bring Santa and Lord Mayor Matt Burnett onto the stage ready for the lighting of the Christmas tree with their bespoke Christmas show performance that was nothing short of spectacular! The script, written by Donna Hann the Creative Director of Dance Kix, was interactive and action packed with fun references to our local Gladstone area.

We were delighted to give our students this unique opportunity to be involved in such a wonderful community event and very proud of all our performers.
